A New Record

So I had another birthday. My wife gives me a suite of incredibly thoughtful gifts, including the classy scarf of my adopted English football club. The weekend game is an away in which they contrive to lose by setting a Premier League record for number of goals scored. 11. I’m 26, and a cowboy. Not sure what will happen next.

A Narrative of the USA Copa America Loss to Paraguay In Lyrics from Radiohead’s Kid A

Everything in it’s right place.
What was that you tried to say?

How to disappear completely.
That there. That’s not me.
I’m not here.
This isn’t happening.
In a little while, I’ll be gone.
You can try the best you can,
You can try the best you can.
The best you can is never good enough.
Big fish eat the little ones.
In Limbo
You’re living in a fantasy,
I’ve lost my way.

Who’s in bunker, who’s in bunker
I’ve seen too much
I haven’t seen enough
You haven’t seen enough
I’ll laugh until my head comes off
Women and children first.
Ice age coming. Ice age coming.
Swallow until I burst.
I’ve seen too much,
I haven’t seen enough.
Is this really happening?
Take the money and run.
